I'm 23 and just picked mine up... but I've also been saving up for about a year and a half and have a reasonably well paying job.

I'm 23 and I should get mine in a couple of days. But I, too, have been saving and have a good job.

I just only turned 25, was 24 when I got the car. Dont think age really has to do anything with getting the car. It's just if you can afford the car and most of the middle aged people could afford the car a lot easier then the youngans.

I was 26 when I got my Z. I would have got it when I was younger if it would have been available.

I'm 22 and just ordered mine. I have a good paying job, but didn't really have much saved up--which was a big mistake, but I can still afford it.

I just recently turned 24, and have a good paying job.... but i don't think there's such a thing as being too young for a Z, just make sure you can afford it in the long run and you're happy with it

I agree with most of the replys. If you can afford it,(mommy or daddy isn't buying it for you) and you don't drive irresponsibly go for it.

19, the car is not very hard to drive... stupidity is what hurts. in some cases you get older folks, I know my dad is one, that drive them like they stole them, not being totally at ease with a stickshift or the RWD power for that matter, and I would imagine, over a long time theyd have a good chance of getting into trouble vs someone that is not quite as cocky thinking that time=experience, cause IMO it doesnt.

this is not a hit on older people driving the Z, just one scenario where older people COULD be worse off than a younger driver.

"I am 19 and I know better...."

Hummm... where would I have heard that??

I am 42. My son is 21. He has destroyed 2 300ZX and a 240SX in the last two years. Me, none.... Yet, he feels nobody drives as good as he does, of course.

aight come on old fellas I said some, not all. and I also never said I was a F1 driver. I just recently learned stick, but I know that when I drive I shift around 3000 RPMs, shift quickly, let revs match and release the clutch, makes for a pretty smooth drive.

when my dad drives he often runs the revs to 5-6000, not really accelerating, just cause he forgets to shift. he shift in turns and is very jerky with it, in rain he would be gaurenteed to spin out.

my whole family is in agreeance that he is not a very good driver of the Z. but he thinks he is since he's driven for so many years. I think many here would agree that driving a sedan for 20 years really does not prepare you to be able to drive a Z as good as you could the sedan.

anyway, once again, I made no statements regaurding my own racing abilities, I can drive on a road tho, I dont hit things, Im not jerky, Im not reckless, it is possible for a young adult to drive a Z.

*makes peace with the elderly Z drivers. *

and Ive driven for almost 5 years, a pretty short time, but I havent had any accident in that time. a pretty bold statement since last I saw its like 70 or 80% of males have an accident between 16 and 18.
