Default There is no post, just hate

There is no thread, apparently people would rather POLICE this forum than to promote a COMMUNITY. Ever wonder why you have far more lurkers than members? And a small percentage of visitors that become PREMIER MEMBERS? Here's why:

That excuse would work except the exact same post you duplicated is not even 10 posts down. Congratulations. "

It should be a rule that if you declare a repost that you link to the original thread. This not only helps the poster and any people who want to reply to the thread, but also helps the mods possibly merge the threads if it truely is a repost. Otherwise "

Search function isn't really needed for threads on page 1, now is it? And that's where the other thread was when you started this little gem. "

If it tells you anything, when I sold my 2004 350Z and bought my 2001 Viper GTS ACR, my insurance premium went up just $25/month, and the Viper has a market value of over 2-1/2 times what my Z was worth. The Z is a very expensive car to ensure, for exactly the reasons they mentioned. This just brings argument to all the teenagers who get pissed off when older drivers say "teenagers don't need high horsepower cars." The facts don't lie.

Good point, which is what would explain the SRT-4 WAY up there on the list, just below the Benz. Kids are getting the "cheapest bang for their buck".

I always liked Chris Rock's idea about gun control, which we may need for cars:
"I think EVERYONE should have a gun, but make the bullets $200 a piece"

I was going to get an IS300 a few years ago... but insurance on it was 50% more than what it was for the 350z.

Same here, my M3 insurance was costing me about $50 more compared to my Z.

Most expensive models to insure:

1 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution
2 Mercedes CL-Class
3 Dodge SRT-4
4 Subaru Impreza WRX
5 Jaguar XK (convertible)
6 Lexus IS 300
7 Honda S2000
8 Acura RSX
9 Nissan 350Z
10 Jaguar XJ

Vehicles that top the insurance-cost list tend to be either high horsepower, high dollar or expensive to repair, Rader says. An expensive choice: "Sporty cars that are favored by young drivers who are risky drivers, so they are crashing a lot." Higher horsepower means the driver is more likely to be going faster and getting into more accidents. That will send insurance rates up for everyone who owns a similar car. Many of the vehicles that are expensive to insure "share a common problem, and that is horsepower," says Kim Hazelbaker, a senior vice president with the Highway Loss Data Institute, an affiliate of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
I really dont think that's right. Or at least thats not in order. An RSX is cheaper for me to insure than a Z and thats a fact. As for Mercedes in second place....I'm very skeptical as Mercedes vehicles have the best safety features of any car which is another fact. My insurance for a 350z is 220 (im 18 and clean record). For a mercedes C230 06 its 170.
