I noticed on the front of my Z (still at the dealership) that there are two little marks where the license plates will go but they are not all the way through. Is this normal? Should I stop them from drilling all the way through?

 

The car comes from the factory with the 2 dimples. They must be drilled out to install the license plate frame. I told my dealer not to install the frame and I mounted it in the center of the grill with 4 heavy duty Ty-wraps. 100% solid and it looks much better..

the dealer told me (here in Seattle) that it was'nt illegal not to have a front licence plate, anyone know different to his or confirm it? I was'nt planning on putting a front one on after I learned this
