I wouldn't be so quick to blame the parents. You ever do stuff your parents told you to never, ever do? I was a decent kid and I still pulled a few over on my mom, back in the day. Unfortunately I got caught just about as often as I got away with anything!
These boys, let's hope, have learned their lesson in a big way.
I got mine in Oct. 2002, but that situation is such a tragedy. Hopefully no one else was hurt.
They said these two kids were airlifted and in trauma. HIDE THOSE KEYS FROM THOSE KIDS LIKE I DO. It also helps if you hide the keys when the ride is at home, burglars may also find the keys if in plain site and wind up in the news as well.
