Who has a problem with birds pooping on their Z? Birds always crap on mine. Just a few days ago I washed my car and then the next day I went somewhere and parked my car in the middle of the parking lot where there are no trees and when I came back out 5 minutes later, there was crap all over the hood and roof. My car is blue and its like a target for birds.

 

I've heard that bird try and cover up bright shinny object to make them look light colored, birds don't poop on light colors usually.

 

birds have a problem with 350z's. they hate em so they drop on em mine got hit twice in one day.

 

I don't know about bird's pooping desires but I had one poo on my fuel lid, I cleaned it off as soon as I got home. Upon looking closer I noticed it discolored the paint. Since then I've tried 3m rubbing compound (2000 grit) and I still have blemishes from the poo. I don't want to rub too much to rub the clear coat off.

I need poo resistant wax!

 

I just had some crap on my NEW 4 Runner, just got it today. Sprayed some Meg's QD on it and let it sit for 1 min and it came right off, no ill effects. I have light silver though
Or if you wax regularly place a wet paper towel on it for 1 min and it should soften and come right off!

Iron-Medic, do you notice that your yellow car is a magnet for bugs? Mine is regularly getting humped by all sorts of insects....quite annoying.

 

dude i think its a damn conspiracy. I drove an eclipse and a ranger before i got my Z and can seriously not remember either of them getting shat on but my Z gets it all the time

 

well i was at the beach last week and a bird shat on my face. so so much more horrible...

Yeah, birds are annoying. Even though they **** while flying, make sure you don't, or try to avoid parking under landing sites.

 

i have to park under a tree at work and all they do is use my Z as a toilet

 

 

I heard that birds like pooping over water which is why they poop over shiny objects/cars... because it looks like water to them from above.
