worst experience I had was bird poop somehow landing between the seat and the edge of the door frame, inside. I guess the wind made it travel sideways enough to hit that target. It was a pain to clean up.

I was going rather quickly towards my house and it is at the bottom of a big hill followed by lots of left and right curves. I hear something and look over to my right to see my girlfriend's face covered in a nice amount of bird poop. It landed in her hair, got on my seats, and hit the inside of the frame. All I could do was laugh my *** off since the bird's poop somehow managed to hit me going at least 70 around curves. It was just meant to happen.

Back to thread. Often get bird doos on car and I always make sure to promptly get some cleaner wax and a bit of fresh wax on the effected area has been best way to keep my Z looking great. Acid in bird dropping will eat through just about any wax I've ever come across, irrespective of quality.

BUT then I read this:
Ask an Expert for January 17, 2003
Question: Can birds burp? I use to live near South Padre Island and it is reported that if you feed a sea gull an Alka Seltzer tablet they will explode.
Answer:
It is an old urban myth that seagulls will explode if they eat an Alka Seltzer. We burp because gaseous byproducts are produced in digestion and forced up through the esophagus (See KidsHealth for a good explanation). Birds have a different digestive system than humans, though they do have an esophagus and are capable of burping. Birds have no teeth and many swallow their food whole or hold it in their crop to regurgitate. For more of bird digestion see Colorado State University's online biomedical textbook, which includes a chapter on the Digestive Physiology of Birds.
