Fix It Ticket for License -- Quick Fix?
I got a 90$ fix it ticket to get the front plate license installed (in Fremont, Ca) .. I really don't want to ruin the front of the car by drilling holes but also dont want to pay 90 bucks for this man made law.
I noticed a few solutions on the forum to get the license on the car without drilling holes. My question is what is the easiest way to get the license on the car without drilling holes. I just want to get the ticket signed off by a police officer. Is the cop going to start pulling and jerking the license around to see how sturdy it is?
Please advise the fastest and cheapest way to get the license on there so I can get the ticket written off, and then i can throw the license in my glove compartment.
Thanks

Well, I really don't know if by "attached" they mean bolted on, but if it just has to be there, why not hang it off the front grill with plastic wire holders? It might cover your fresh air intake so hang it low, but I would figure if it is hanging up front there can't be much to complaint about. ANd they are easy to cut off...
In VA the law specifically states permanently mounted, or something like that. Don't know what precedents there are pertaining to the term permanent... I like AudioPat's mount but I may put off actually installing it until the 1st ticket.. They don't bug the Vette guys around here. Hopin' they leave me alone
