Default Removing Nissan emblems on stock 03 Track rims

Has anyone ever removed the Nissan emblems on the stock 03 Track Rays rims? I am looking into doing a custom job on the stock rims and was wondering if anyone has been able to remove the Nissan emblem. I did try to see if it was held by adhesive or clip but was not able to tell if removal was possible.

i think all you need to do is take the rim off and pop out the center cap. my 06 rims and my friend's g35 19" are that way.

i think he meant removing the emblem from the center cap. I looked at it it looks to be epoxied on there pretty well. Im sure it could be done though.

Yes I meant removing the Nissan emblem from the center cap. I may take a stab at removing one of the emblems. If it is some type of sealant that Nissan used that would be great. Once I get things sorted I will post pictures of my custom stock rim project.

No sealant. It is held it by a ring-like tension mechanism all too common in automotive applications. Remove the wheel and pop out the cap from behind. Piece of cake. Look up the pics of replacement caps on courtesy's site to get an idea of what I'm talking about.

Think about it, if a sealant was used, it would be a PITA for a tech even to balance the tires.

I have a better suggestion, get the Z-Center caps for the Track model

I do like the looks of the Z caps on that site. I want to actually pop off the Nissan sign from the center cap & paint over the center cap & put the Nissan sign back on. This is what my project car looks like right now. I want to put the last finishing touches on the center cap to make that area black as well.
