i think a modded Z will inspire lots of people. my car was stock for nearly 6 months and when i began modding it and when everything started to flow nicely on exterior many of my friends started getting into the car craze.

It's true that the Z is a sexy car, but the truth is that a car that is still in production for many years will be attainable by many, so dnt be surprised so u see it alot, and in a way this is bad as they depreciate so fast and i mean fast. I got rid of my 06 enthusiast with only 13000 miles on the clock.

Since I got mine, one person at work on my shift has bought a roadster, and two other people say they want to buy one soon. That is out of about 11 people I work with regularly.

Uh... what are you talking about? The 350z and G35 are #1 as far as low depreciation in their classes. They hold their value very well. They definitely hold their value much better than any of the shopping cart cars.

For me a sports car has to have these 3 things

1) Speed
2) Handling
3) Looks

Only the Z has all three in the $30k price range

If you prefer buying used cars you can't beat a used 03' Z with low miles, you can usally find them for around $21k
Honda S2000?

If you ask me, the 350Z's are pretty rare. Honestly, how many Z's do you see on a daily basis? I only see about 1-3 Z's a month

For crying out loud, I come on here to talk about the car that I don't even have yet!!

So yes, it is definately contageous.

And, granted, I don't really live in a good area of town, but there aren't alot of Zs around here. On the other hand on a recent trip to LA, you couldn't turn your head without seeing a G35 or a 350Z.
Check my Profile info. I've been lurking for FOUR YEARS! I have been in love with Z cars since Blind Date, a movie I watched as a kid. Things keep popping up which keeps me from my Z (new jobs, upcoming wedding, soon-to-be wife's new Infiniti) but soon, very soon I will be part of the family...

In LA I see like 1-3 Z's every hour. Moving to LA really diminished the allure of this car and even cars like the M3. Oh well, I still plan on getting one haha.

I moved to Portland, OR about three months ago, and I don't really see that many Z's, but I see a lot of BMWs and Porsches. My Z doesn't seem to get as much attention here compared to Texas or Utah since there are so many people here with nice rides. Every other car in Texas was banged up. I hardly ever see a dirty or banged up ride here. Dallas Texans just seemed to be poor drivers (1/3 of them didn't even have insurance).

That's scary especially considering that since I moved to Dallas 4 months ago, I've seen more wrecks in that time than I did all of last year in Austin and San Antonio. I call the Central Expressway the I-75 "Raceway"

It's funny that we've been talking about this for a couple of days... I went to work today and one of my buddies comes up to me and says.. "Guess what? I'm letting my wife take my car and I'm getting a new car at the end of the year." So I ask him what car... "I think I'm getting the Z".... lol....

I know that here in my small town I was one of 4 Z's in 2004. Now there are over 24 Z's. In two years the population has zoomed!! The owner of the local Nissan dealership has two (his wife drives a roadie) a 2003 CS and an 05 PPW. I love mine and must say that every day I grow a lot more in love with her!!

The Z is still a very good, sporty, RWD, sports car. Very simple, very strong, and very reliable car. Those attributes makes for a buyable car for a few years, even after the fever disapears.

Mine is one of the few modified ones that I've seen in IN. I like it because with the exhaust I get people looking at me everywhere I go. I had a kid yell "Nice car!!" the other day when I drove through the neighborhood, .
