HAHA... My brother (A film student in Seattle's school of Art) would love this short. He's been making this type of film for years now. Excellent work! Really enjoyed this one!!!

I don’t want to do this with out your permission, so I will ask you first.
My sister works for an independent cinema house in London England. Her boy friend is head of a group who promotes short films all over Europe, so my question is, would it be Ok if I sent her your short film??
I have been to a few short film promotions and I relay liked yours, (probably bias b/c of the Z) any way let me know if I could send her to your site and who knows maybe they will show it at a viewing. Let me know

Cheers

Kevin

6894kevin, and with No offense to DeZingner

I've been a Cinematography for some time and done some feature length indie films as well as some network stuff and I not claim to be anything great but I do have alot of knowledge.
Though the film was cute and nice, this is nowhere near worthy of promoting and I dont think any group would bother also short films that are sent out to art houses.
1: longer then 3mins around 15-30mins
2: most places require they are in film or HD tape
3: Actually have a story to them
4: have people that can speak lines that dont sound they just read them for the first time

If your into making films, DeZingner, am glad your aleast attempting something as practice but I dont think its a good idea to have you feel this is something awsome here, there is alot of things that scream amatuar.
Its not my right to critize something like this but having people tell its worthy of sending out to film promoter will only lead to disappointment and hold back from actually learning something.
You'll be nothing more then those american idol people that cant believe the judges dont like them because everyone else keeps telling them their great.

Sorry for the Ranting and dont take it as a insult

Relax! It was done as an amusing diversion from my sculpture and painting work. Not meant to be taken so seriously.

That was a nifty video. I was wondering how it was going to end especially when I saw that last shot of the boy.

Nice vid. I wonder how you got that angle/view of the rear wheels and rear undercarriage while the car was moving...I'm guessing you were in the trunk and somehow reached over below with your camera?

Exactly right. I opened up the LCD screen so I could see what I was shooting. I did attach a few small wheels to the bottom of my camera so when I occassionally touched the ground I didn't destroy the camera.

And, BTW, do you have any idea how diifficult it is to fit a 6' 4" frame in the trunk of a Z?
