it'll cost more than it will cost you to buy another one and have one shipped over to the US, and get across red tape...

hmm...i wonder how much it will cost to have BOTH hand drives...left AND right...just one day you get bored you wanna drive on the right side and another day drive on the left...or you can have 2 people controlling the car at the same time and uhhh, ummm...crash cuz ummm...yeah...nevermind...

Too much to be worth it. Join the Navy and get stationed in Japan, then its easy! Hell get a R34 while youre at it!

It would be easy to get a 350Z right hand drive: just ship one from Japan. What will be difficult is getting it out of the port.

Not the Navy! May be true with Army/USMC the Navy still sends people to ships 99% of the time. What does the Navy do in Iraq? A ship might deploy to the area, but thats all it does is go over there and have BBQ's and watch movies and stuff. Ive done it a coupla few times

I saw that conversion done to a acura Integra, they cut out the dash and fire wall and put it in the other car. Also some other stuff came out too for the steering. It was on the Asian dude show where he get 2 body shops to build up 2 identical cars based on a theme and he judges who did the best job.

door handles and inner panels
firewall is different, dash/ center console,wiring,..
underhood wiring,battery,fuse boxes interchange with brakes m/c., new brake lines run on right side.
steering assy,powersteering.. interference with a/c
seat [minor].
================
I was considering converting to RHD to ship to the Caribbean but ended leaving as LHD when shipped.
I am looking into the project once more..for 2007.

no point in doing such a conversion. i had more experience driving british cars than i did american cars. i was stationed in england. it was pretty fun to drive on the opposite side of the street. hell we had a ton of american cars out there. the government will ship it for free and we just drive our left hand drive cars on the left side of the road. made it hard to pass people but that is how it went...

My freind has a 240 and and ordered a front clip (everything from the steering wheel up) from Japan because he wanted to convert his to right hand drive. I'm not sure if they would have any for a 350Z though because it's a newer car.

Try searching a little bit and if you find one and do the work yorself it shouldn't be to much $$$$$$$.

first buy a clip that has the dash and firewall intact.... then do the firewall swap you just need some knoledge and guts to do it..... ive helped out on a couple honda RHD swaps..... but everything will be switched... like the door handles and stuff on the left side..... unless you spend some cheese and get jdm panels and goodies....

Lol when you mention the kiddies it always reminds me of the guy working in front of the drive thru with his peppermint body kit stock engine and rims Civic parked directly where he can see it, daydreaming of what will become of it.
