My Z is my only car, it's fine as a daily driver, for the spring, summer and fall that is. I don't know what I'm gonna do this winter yet though.

I'm a college student and the Z is my only car. I take the lightrail (local commuter train) to school mon-thurs so the Z really only sees action friday-sunday.

Guess I'm a victim of mixed blessings. The Z is NOT my daily driver (my Pontiac GP has that dubious honor). I'd love to drive the Z more often, but my job neccesitates that it gets sidelined during the week. BUT, when the snow and ice comes along, it's REALLY nice to NOT have to drive the Z.

where in fl do you go to college? i'm a student at uf, and have never really had any problem with having a Z as a daily driver. only time it could potentially be a problem is when moving stuff up or back down to miami. but i just get a friend (conveniently my roommate) to take some of my stuff in his car.

get the z. you won't regret it one bit.

i'm down at ucf once in a while to visit friends also. at 110mph the rpms are around 4125rpm. oh and i always slow down around the last 10 miles before the exits for gainesville because there are often cops in the grass through the foresty part around there, and also at the rest stop (not one with food) just before gainesville. my roommate got a ticket there one time when we were heading back from ucf.

yea i have **** my pants there many times, i have the best escort passport8xxx w/e radar detector and it saves me every time, the stories of closs calls i could tell

but yea i do too, mostly because traffic picks up so much right around there even though it goes into 3 lanes, 4100 is much better than my current cars 5k <_<, would still prefer it to be closer to 3k though, that would be optimal, maybe i could get a super overdrive gear for 6th lol

My Z is my only car, it's fine as a daily driver, for the spring, summer and fall that is. I don't know what I'm gonna do this winter yet though.
I will join that club. Exact same situation as me.

As long as your 'rents or whoever have an SUV to help you move in/out, might as well get the Z. No reason not to. You can even fit golf clubs in there!! And those cargo spaces behind the seats are very handy.

The Z is now my daily driver/only car. I used to have a Supercharged Focus ZX3, but I sold it cause I am taking off to Iraq, (for the third time) and I dont have anywhere to keep it. I debated even buying the Z because I am gonna be getting married soon, and I was thinking about kids and whatnot, but my Fiance' just got an IS250, so she has the "family" car. I think tha Z had a substantial amount of room for daily use. I've fit ALOT of stuff in the Z. I actually fit the whole stock exhaust in the car after I put the Nismo exhaust on. And that was with a Z Enclosures box too.

college student here with z as only car works fine.

Works better in college cuz when its crappy out you can store the Z and rely on roomates for rides and such. You also dont have to drive everyone around.

Daily driver, including winter. We have quite some snow/rain/other sh*t from the sky over here and if you take it easy, even with the potenza's it's ok. Better to get upgraded tires or winter tires of course.

I use it all the time for groceries, no problem. The only problem the boot has that it's quite low.
I still managed to fit a big backpack, big travel bag for 2 weeks of holiday (so loads of clothes in there), 100 bottles of beer and some pair of shoes without any problem
