Default How many here keep an emergency kit in their Z?

Just curious, I've been wanting to get one for my car, but did not know if it made a lot of raucous noise when driving.

Thanks!

I got a small one in my passenger cubby. What kind of noise are you talking about?

Always a good idea to have one in ANY car. Depending on what type/size you get ...it could be stowed in the compartment behind the passenger seat..or maybe in the space where the spare tire is....Insulate it with a towel to avoid any noise from banging around, if neccessary.

I'll have to stow one in the passenger cubby area. Better safe than stupid.

I don't drive my Zed in the winter or go long distances with it. With that said, is there a reason why I might need an emergency kit?

It's funny how you guys always seems to make fun of where I live without answering the question.

You need to look at a map sometimes, least you forget that where I live is more south then some of your cities in Washington, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigin, Maine, and let's not forget Alaska.

And let's not go into how we Canadians speak, I've visited New Orleans, Boston, Jersy, Texas, and some of your deep back water towns. And I won't even go into North Dakota dialect.

Just in case you do need reference: http://maps.google.com

Its not a bad idea to carry a little fire extinguisher, too.

Even though I'm from NJ, I'll forgive that comment about our accent, although we don't really have a discernible one, unlike peeps in New Orleans, Texas, or Boston.

IMHO, even though you may not drive long distances, you can never predict when or where an accident might occur..or maybe this seriously hot looking babe needs a jump start.

If you HAD jumper cables, you could assist her.....That's reason enough for me!

I have one in the glove box, and it's not the nissan one. So it kinda sits there and can flap around i guess. I don't hear anything. And I drive without the radio on most of the time (because I love the sound of the motor).

2 condoms in a ziplock bag. But just for emergencies though.
