Extended Warranty, bonus!
I thought it was bogus buying an extended warranty when i first purchased my Z. Ive had all the problems associated with the 03' Z minus the transmission, so far.
My first window motor, driver side, went down in may, which was covered by my original warranty. Now it is almost September and my passerger side window motor goes down... instead of paying the insane $500, its a payment of $50.
Im sure there will be other problems, it ends up, the warranty will have paid itself off for my Z. Whew...

Not to rain on your warranty parade but fixing the window motor is a pretty simple and straightforward job. You can easily do it yourself in about 45 minutes with a screwdriver and metric wrench. It will save you that $50 plus the time to drop your car off and pick it up.

Rgtopz and I both know a guy here who's engine went out, due to let's say unforeseen circumstances. Took off the mods, too, it back to the dealership, and now has a new engine, and was done in less then two weeks. Total cost $0.00// Except the time to take off the mods, so it was stock again.
He's dbmtrx123 on the NorCal thread and a good friend of ours, so those warranties can be worth something, I definitely will keep mine.
