Default Shaky shifter?

I just test drove a 04.5 Z and the shifter is shaky even at idle. Like you can feel the engine through it. Is this normal?

Same with the pedals.

it should be "shaky" a bit at idle.

Its normal. Its direct connected to the transmission. My neighbors Porsche boxter doesn't do it because its got links to the transmission instead of being directly connected to it. We took stuff apart to find out why :-D

Oh, i see. Kind of annoying, but at least you can feel what's going on. Just makes the engine feel less smooth than it really is. Same with the pedals.

That's one of the things I really like about the Z... feels like you're a part of the engine when driving.

Now that you mention it... someone should get a girl to test it.

I noticed it more pronounced when I put on my carbon fiber nismo **** and certain driving speeds or RPMs.

And OH, about the shift **** being used in action with a girl in a Blue Z, oh I cant forget that, theres a series of pics out there somebody shared the link to on another forum.

(Devil smiley insert here)

reminds me of that one car commercial. The girl was sucking the shifter but it looked like she was giving the bf a blow job lol.
