Default Buying an 07. What are the must have mods??

I am looking forward to purchasing my Z after driving a 240sx for 16 years! I am going to get a loaded touring coupe with nav but wondered about must have mods that are best bang for the buck. I can order the Nismo gear at the time I order the car. Is there anything I should get? Is the intake/exhaust worth it? I am not looking to go crazy, rathr just plug up the little weaknesses with the car that I have read it has. Do the extra roll bars help? What clear bra is the best for the Z? Also, have any of you replaced your OEM tires? What did you pick and why? I have heard that the Avon 550 a/s are great on the Z! Let me hear your thought oh great ones!

Hold it hold it hold it. The horse goes before the cart. First the car - them mods.

Are you considering having the dealer add-on NISMO to the purchase price?

Yeah +1 million. They just came out with a head unit trim kit to fit the 2006 console, and I think there may be only one front lip that fits the 2006 front end (if that). So my point is, directed at the OP, that you better wait and see what this 2007 model looks like before buying anything made to fit previous model years. The various aftermarket companies haven't been much more than slightly responsive to the design changes made in 2006. But maybe nissan will be changing things yet again in 2007, so the aftermarket companies did not want to spend lots of time/money investing into a one-year deal?

I know I am talking about aesthetic stuff here, but parts is parts. Keep your pants on until the thing shows up at the dealer. And happy modding.

EDIT: More on topic, am I correct in thinking that Nismo did not make a lip to fit the 2006 front bumper?

How about things that will not change like tires? Are some of you buying different tires for the car to replace the crappy OEM? How about the best clear bra to protect the paint job? HOw about the Nismo product line that the dealer can install? Are the high flow cats worth it? Does the car perform better with the 19 inch rear wheels? Or is it best to keep the stock 18's? Do the chrome wheels add weight? What are the best wheels to order with the Z? These things should stay the same for 07. What do you all think about these specific items?

Making it go faster is great...but don't forget it will need to stop. I would either order with Brembo or afterwarket a big brake kit. I think it would be less to order with big brakes.

Rumors are the 2007 350z will have the modified VQ engine that the new 2007 G35 sedan is getting plus it might also have a true dual exhaust design, if this is the case there probably wont be any mods for awhile... But being the 2007 350z will be faster then any stock or lightly modified 03-06 350z's you should be set for awhile...

My roommate has a TH400 in his turboed Camaro SS. Sucks a*s on the street. 3 speeds doesn't cut it, even with a 2.75 rear end.

I'm not sure if I would consider this "true dual". Call it what you will:
