i have a K&N intake, Crawford plenum, borla exhaust. no test pipes just stock cats. its not a rasp, it really sounds like a weak BOV. it does it when i let off only, and not gradual but half a second after i let off i hear the sound "Tsshhh"

dude honestly like clockwork if i open her up from first to second of course the engine is loud but i can hear it from under the hood through all gears. another example is lets say I'm cruising, i take off from a light all cool then shift to second and in second i slam on the gas for a few seconds but not redlining it maybe to 5k and let off i hear it louder. this is hard to explain for me but I'm hoping I'm giving a clear example but i do know what a his sound coming from an intake makes but this is more like a reverse sound of when you depress and release the pedal quick and that sound it makes but it makes it when you release. hope this makes sence. this does not show up under any other condition other than WOT

Mine's an 05 and I haven't had problems besides any recalls..I hear sounds, but I just assume they are normal bc the car runs fine. When you have a car like that, I know it's only normal to be **** about every little thing kinda like a hypochondriac...ya know what I'm saying?

Does your car feel weird after it makes that sound? It could just be pressure releasing

lol...

Vacuum leaks can make a hissing sound but that would generally cause idling problems too....

No idle problems? Not throwing any codes?

What's the last mod you did? How long after the mod did the sound start?

It might also be your fuel being cut off when you hit the rev limiter. Make sure you're shifting correctly at the right time.
