Default Roll up Windows from remote

I know how to roll down my windows from the remote, but is there a way to roll them up from the remote. It would be nice to just hop out and roll up the windows as you walk away or if you leave them down you don't have to walk out to your car (from your house).

The manual says nothing about going up. I tried it and they go down real easy but I could not find a combination that would close them. Had to walk outside and close them from inside.

Oh well. Nice question,

you can roll them up by putting the key in the door and turning it, I believe to the right, and then they will go up.

No need to get back in the car if you forget to roll up the windows.

I'm sure the central locking system ECU can be recoded to allow the windows to be rolled up from the remote. This is a safety precaution because apparently americans frequently roll their windows up while their children are sticking their heads out of the car.

I'm sure a few code changes can fix this, as well as have the doors automatically lock once 10 or 15mph is acheived. these are things that are typically factory programmed over seas.

I got it to roll up once my alarm was installed.
My buddy rewired it so that it could both roll up and down. Also he allowed me to pop the gas lid from the remote as well. Pretty useful stuff.

no way!

I want that. What do I have to do?

So many times I get out, go over to gas it and then have to turn around and go back to hit the button.

I want mine to open from the remote.

ARE YOU SERIOUS?

untill you get it on the remote, hit the pop button twice... works like a charm, if it happened to open the first time, no harm, the second time is just for insurance.

Per the manual, hold the "unlock" button down for 3 seconds & the windows will roll down.

Nothing on "up" function.

It is amazing what ya can learn by reading! (hint, hint)

I've also taken to popping the gas cover twice, just to make sure it opens. The last time I got gas I had to go back to the car about 3 times since it kept sticking closed. Damn, I sure felt like an idiot. Maybe time for some lube! On the gas cover, I mean!

Myself and another already stated that the manual says nothing about "up" function (read the previous posts). I was curious if there was a way to get it to go up (possibly a code change).

I had a 2001 Dodge Dakota, and one of my fav. features was the doors autolocked at about 15 miles an hour. I was kind of disapointed to find out the Z doesnt do that.

Would someone be able to reprogram it to do that? I would also like to be able to roll the windows up by the remote, but that isnt that big of a deal to me. The auto up switch is a god send in it self.

Mine is the Enthusiast, but all of the models have the same remote functions (correct me if I'm wrong).
