Default Two 10 Inch Subs???

Never had small subs, but also never had a small car. In your opinions, how do you think 2 10" woofers sound in our car. I am not one for have extreme loudness ( I'm over that now ), I like quality.

Another question, how would you rate MTX as a sub???

when i first bought my car i had 2 12s put it. that was overkill in my opinion. i believe 1 10 would be plenty. not to loud but it would add quality to the music.

Depends on what you like. Our Z's are good for enclosed subs b/c its a hatchback. If you are going with quality of sound defenetly 10's are the way to go. Just do more reasearch in these forums. I just finish a full system in my car, and got all the info and how to's on everything on these forums (thx all).

when I shop for a sub/equipment, I look for Specs and material they are made from, quality maters allot also but when you are buying from a known named company they will already have there quality standards. There is only so many ways to make a sub for your special use, after that its all about the extra $$ ur spending on their NAME or REPUTATION, just like any other product.

I have 2 10in. woofers in my car and it sounds good. Your not gonna hit the real low notes that a 12in. or 15in. woofer will hit, but they sound good. Here are mine in a fiberglass box. I listen mostly to hard rock/heavy metal, country and occasionally R&B and rap.

You could also go with a JL Audio StealthBox. I will probably get the one for the Z. It is pretty neat, and keeps most of the room in the back.

It is pretty nice check it out

I just bought 2 10 "MTX 4500 sub woofers and a custom box from mike on ebay.. it's decent, does the job i would say.. doesn't compare to my other car w/ 2 12" alpine but its good and looks nice
