Too many Z owners everywhere. It's a common sportscar because it's priced for the consumer, not the high end sportscar market. My Z is great but I wish it wasn't so common.

 

i try to wave sometimes and have, but never gotten a wave back, it sad/embarrassing when that happens.....lol

I've had a few waveswhen I first got the Z. Not anymore, but I dont really care.

 

The only Z's that wave back to me are older ones. I've even been flipped off for waving.

 

I wave if I see other z's if I'm able to without breaking my arm doing so. Not everyone will or cares to wave, could you image this dilemma on a mustang forum...

 

Buy a Jeep Wrangler, your arm will fall off from all the waving you will be doing. I had to drive 25 miles to work when I had my Wrangler, felt like a parade every morning.

I had an 04 Rubi, great truck (not in the rain in 2wd) If you have a Rubicon it seems like if you didnt wave to another they would get upset at you. I would be like " you wave to me every morning, can i have the day off please!"

As far as chosing between the girls if I was presented with that dilemna...I would pick the girl with the Buick. It's got a bigger backseat....

I think some of you hit the nail on the head about the Z. It's a more diverse population that owns them. It's not a mostly enthusiast type car. You have a lot more "mature" people buying them because they're cool and somewhat affordable. It's not like an Sti or Evo that 95% of buyers get it to mod the crap out of it.

There aren't that many Z owners in my area so they can't use the excuse of their arm getting tired. Besides, I ride a motorcycle and I wave to every person I pass(as long as it's not dangerous to do so). I even wave to Harley riders(I ride an Aprilia) and almost all of them wave back. Only the real crusty dirt bags ignore you. And they're just pissed because they have week old bugs in their beards still and they haven't changed their shorts in a while.

Oh and just bc your married doesnt mean your not gay...look at the politician from NJ...and there are such a thing as GaY marriages...lol

It was fun to wave back in the day, but nowadays my hands would never be on the steering wheel if I waved at all the Z's.

Really? I've had pretty good reactions. I always honk and they'll pretty often honk / hibeam back. One guy rolled down his window and yelled "hey, nice car!!"

 

I read this 3 times and I'm still confused (gay?). If I wanted my wallet to be empty and still with a condom in my pocket, I would take the hottie in the BMW Z4. If I wanted to get some, I'd pick the hottie in the Buick Regal and probably have some cash left over for another mod. Is this what you meant or am I gay?

 

Funny, 350 owners in NZ tend to wave, and you usually get waves from 300's and 240, 260's (but then I'm in a 300/350 club & another Zclub). Seems to be a good comradery in the Antipideas generally, apart from the odd snob.

 

On any given day I see more Porches, Vettes and Vipers than Zs. Unfortunately, most of the Zs I do see are driven by either really old men or women.
