Thumbs down Stillen = STEALIN'

I ordered the Stillen SS exhaust for the 350z from Stillen's website on 2/14 for $1095 as advertised. Stillen indicated that it should arrive within 4-5 days. Well, after a week went by and the exhaust didn't arrive, I called and asked what the deal was. They indicated that they were a little backordered and it should ship within a few days. I called after a week to ensure that it had been shipped and then they told me that a machine that is involved in making the exhaust broke and it will be another week. Another week goes by and low and behold it finally arrived but guess what!?!?! They said that they would only sell it to me for the new price of $1150! Stillen are freakin' crooks. No wonder why so many people refer to them as STEALIN. I did some background checking and found that they are not in good standing with the better business bureau. Maybe this will get around and STEALIN will go bankrupt. I hate companies that pull ish like that.

Thank you. Someone needs to remind forum members of Stillen's unsatisfactory rating. Not surprised from what I've read in the past. I call BS on 13 hp exhaust and leave it to them to prove otherwise. You buy Stillen, caveat emptor.

Wow, that's suckalicious.

Are you gonna take that crap, or tell them to take a hike and refund your money? Whichever route you choose you may want to mention to them that you will be sure to provide another data point for the BBB, and that how they treat you will determine the specific data you will be providing.

Good luck in getting everything worked out.

I did exactly that. I have written two lengthy emails to their Vice president and he didn't have the professional courtesy to respond to my emails. I told them to cancel my order and I already did submit a complaint with the BBB. Actually, things worked out good because I found another vendor that is awesome to work with and they actually sold me the exhaust for LESS than what Stillen was charging.
