You my friend have larger nuts than me because I would never take the Z out in one N Tx famous ice storms or snow. I have this constant semi hydroplaning feeling when I drive in hard rain already. Then again it might just be my lame *** potenzas as well

It's a keeping it pretty thing for me. I'm obsessive about it; I admit it. My Z is show car shiny at all times. I've had it for a year and a half and have never driven it in the rain. I have a beater car I drive if there's even a chance of rain.

Nice thing about it is I appreciate the Z all that much more when I do drive it; I never get tired of it that way. Also, I washed my car once after I bought it and have not had to wash it since; I just dust, spot clean with spray detailer and polish it. Ha, I'm probably the only guy around that has cross drilled rotors that the insides of the holes are not rusty!

And no, it's not a Ferarri and no, the rain isn't going to hurt it, but my Z is MY "Ferarri" and I will continue to treat her as such.

I don't drive it in the rain either, mainly because of cleaning.
I like my car to be spotless.
Plus enormous lips on the rims are a pain to clean, plus water stays in the middle of the rim if I don't dry them off right away, lol.

Ridiculous. Drive that bad boy in the rain. You are missing half the fun.

I bought the ZR knowing it will be my sunny day car. Have other cars for non-sunny days. I may get, and have been, caught in the rain with it, but normally don't leave home with it when it is going to rain. It's like wearing hiking boots in the dirt and dress shoes for nice surrounding.

Its my only drivable car so I have to drive it in the rain. My 240 is a long way from being road worthy.

Up here in Vermont, if I didn't drive my ZR in bad weather, I would never drive it!

If I were going to be that **** about some measly rain, I would have a crotch rocket instead. Get real! It has windshield wipers and tread on the tires for a reason.
