The enthusiast model is definitely the best bang for yer buck, the VDC IMO is not worth the extra 2g's...the only option i would consider bein worth payin more money for on the higher models is the brembos....that extra 2g's could be spent on a nice set of volks

You have to experience VDC with hard driving on a daily basis to appreciate just how good it is.

VDC saved my butt a few times. VDC saved my tires from peel outs that were unintended. That's money in your pocket. VDC is there for me in the rain. VDC is there for me in the canyons. VDC is there for me on resale. VDC a little piece of mind when you're pushing the car.

I don't care how good a driver you think you are, it's nice to have it covering your back if you screw up.

If you're not sure, find a Z bud who has it and drive her for a bit, then find a Z bud who doesn't have it and drive her for a bit. That will give you a taste but it still won't demonstrate what you get with VDC on as a daily driver. It's worth the 2k, much more so than 2k for nav. And, I love my nav.

I was also torn between enthusiast and performance. Still thinking if VDC is worth it was well. If I drive around 70mph regularly, would VDC be worth it? How is it in the snow or rain?

Base- no tcs/vdc
Enthusiast- tcs
Performance- tcs and vdc
Touring(aut)- tcs but no vdc
Touring(man)- tcs and vdc
Tack- tcs and vdc

when I first got the car I always ran with VDC on but after having the car for a while it is more annoying then helpful to me... It has caused me more problems... It ingages to quickly and makes the car unstable at times.... may keep u out of some accidents or keep the car in control but for the most part for me it is much less effective then my own skill to componsate... It can be useful but not a nesisity...

BTW.. anyone figure out a way to have it off when the car is turned on?
