My Oakley's fit without fine with no problems. They also don't rattle around in the compartment. I don't think the sun glasses holder is useless unless you have some huge circus style sunglasses.

On a side note I think that Nissan should've included a 2nd storage compartment behind the drivers seat on all models w/o the Bose system. There's empty space there that can't really be used effectively. I do sometimes remove the panel and store my Glock back there (it's a good hiding place if someone ever broke into my car).

I don't think I'm high....but what are you referring too? Obviously you wouldn't be able to put anything in nor out of the compartment while driving!! If you have a passenger in your car you wouldn't be able to get into the passenger-side compartment either so what's the difference? I'm sleepy but not high....

Woah, how did you fit your half jacket in there? There is no way I can fit my half jacket in that compartment. Maybe the 2003 model is smaller...

2005's got bigger holders, as well as a in-dash cigarette lighter. We also have the 'knee-pads'. These may have come in as early as the 2004.5's though.

lol, I said on all the Z's that DON'T come with the Bose system. I never said they should've included the 2nd compartment instead of the Bose. Fact is that all Z's without that bose have empty space behind the drivers seat that could've been put to good use. It still can be if you take your interior apart to remove that steel bracket and construct some type of fiberglass container that'll fit.

+1. The only use I have had for that compartment has been my toll tickets.

I haven't been able to put sunglasses in there either. I use it to hold the remote to the garage. That this is big and bulky and only fits in there one way.
