sorry to bring back the dead, but I just got busted for going on myspace via proxy. They blocked the port and now I got in deep **** because we couldn't use that workstation. I have to give 2 training lectures and I had to talk to my division chief just for going on myspace. What a joke!

What kind of desk Jobs do you guys have, that gives the op to be on-line all the time. not trying to be a D77K, just wondering.... Also don't be posting here on a public forum what system you are using to log on the forum with, they are sure to find out now , and guarantee it being blocked. The dude using the NIPRNET to down load ****, just to see if he could. He has no idea how he's FOOKing his brothers in arms.. DON'T DO IT.

I was the network administrator. I controlled the npr. I like to say that it was my "unofficial" job to exploit weaknesses in the system, because when I got caught doing certain things, it was blocked within the hour, lol. When Majs, Lt. Cols, and Cols ask you how to go around blocked sites and do certain things on the npr, you would sound more highspeed if you can answer them instead of saying you did not know or you weren't allowed. They would just go to someone else. It was because of this type of connection that I got out of all the trouble I was in, lol. There are a lot worse people than I am. When you have marines playing with an AT-4 in an ammo bunker and having that **** accidently go off but not exploding, yeah, the higher ups have more important things to take care of.
