That's the third wheel that's got curb rash, and it is the worst. The RR was curbed when I was making a right into the bank parking lot. The FL was from the drive-thru window at Taco Shop >.<

Feeling hopeless, I was thinking about selling these wheels (with 255/285 T1-R tires being put on in a week or two) late next year to add to the down payment on the new G coupe. Is it true the LE-37t is discontinued? That's what I saw on Performance Nissan's site. I notice the prices are so much higher than when I first got my wheels 3 years ago.

If it the wheels can be repaired, I might think twice before selling them. I was thinking about a 19x9.5 and 20x11 TE setup for the new G.

Aside from curb rash, I saw this long sidewall crack on my front right tire 3 days ago when getting an oil change. That's what prompted the immediate trip to Nissan to get the axle clicking and fuel filler valve issues resolved while waiting on new tires.

Yah dj, i had the same thing happen after i got new rear tires on. I checked them out and everything before i left the dealership, but when i got home i noticed the fronts were all curbed-up. I immediately went back to show the dealership and they matched the paint on my rims to a lift in their shop. Not till after all that was proven did the mechanic confess he did it. They repaired the rims at another place (Rimedies) but never told me before-hand that my car was gonna spend the night somewhere else. When i got it back the rims were nicely fixed but I now have a dent in my fender. The dealership is suppose to be fixing that too once i bring it in.

^ None of this would've happened if the axle click and fuel filler valve problems never returned. The valve was replaced a few months ago along with the recalled fuel hoses. I was in shock when it started acting up again while filling up my car. It took about 15min to force feed 12 gallons of fuel because it kept cutting off.

This is exactly why I kept my stock wheels and they go back on anytime it goes to the dealer...

He told me to bring it back on Monday so his manager could look at it.

Default You guys won't believe what else I found! >.<

I washed my car today and noticed my left Greddy sideskirt is damaged as well!

I really don't know what to say to them about these damages when I take my car back tomorrow. They still need to fix the fuel filler cutoff valve (again), so it looks like my car is getting more time in the dealership. ARgh! Now I'm pretty enraged.

Same thing happened to my wife's Maxima. I always do DIM and we got a free oil change for me being deployed.

Idiots broke my $20 magnetic oil plug and dented my rear bumper when he backed it out of the stall! I just now noticed the slight dent, so I doubt I will get **** since I moved out of state 2 weeks ago and haven;t had the time to detail the car until today! ****ing IDIOTS!

Figures, the only time I do this!

I'm not sure about the sideskirt issue, yet.

- Try to scare them into fetching me a brand new $815 LE-37t replacement.
- After that, get them to fix all of my wheels at no charge. They'll probably have to pull off the rubber before grinding, so I'm going to have them slap on my stock wheels on WITHOUT losing anything especially my Rays Duralum Lugs! T1-Rs and brake pads are coming in about 1-2 more weeks, and I'm having someone else do that work.

I really love my wheels and I worked my (_!_) off to buy them, and it'll break my heart to sell it.

Now the sideskirts... they're going to have to keep my car longer if they're going to fix the wheels and fuel filler valve. Can you guys bet on what else they're going to break other than efffin around with my headunit?

I stopped going to all dealers after they scratched one of my wheels. They did buy me a new one though.

This is starting to get complicated...

Last week when I picked up my car the secretary and my service advisor at different times told me to bring the car back when the tank is almost empty since they have the part.

I was supposed to bring my car yesterday to have the service manager (same guy that hates my dad) look at my car. Well, I got the run around because the manager was not available because of some doctor's appointment. So I have to wait until Wed. morning to drop it off before he goes to the doctor again since he might not be able to work for at least 3 weeks (wtf?).

So today I found out I won't be "dropping of my car" because they don't have the part (???). I got real pissed off when my dad told me about it. They did the same a few months ago and gave me the run around. I pretty much dropped off my car and found out when I picked it up that nothing was done because they didn't have the parts despite being told that the first place.

My dad is so upset he is thinking about slapping them with another lawsuit if there is no progress this week. Plus, he's sick and tired to the point he wants to get rid of his new Xterra and avoid Nissan altogether.

We'll see what happens tomorrow - which is ridiculous because I now have to take time off work just to deal with this mess.

Man it was wild 2 years ago. My dad was ready to scrap the service manager because he was literally taunting my dad and provoking him. My dad got so heated, clenched his fists, and walked out side for some fresh air.
He basically spent $3k on parts and labor for something that started off as cam seal and oil pump replacement that was not done properly and on the 2nd trip, they blew his motor 2 weeks later. They said his motor was over 100k and was bound to happen. He refuted with.... No! That motor barely has 50k.

It's not likely they'll pay for just that rim. I'll have them fix 2 other rims that have minor curb rash + sideskirt + i don't know what else. I just need the car back ASAP since it's my only vehicle. Argh!!!

Damn wish I hadn't seen this thread.

Got my car back last week with a dent in the passanger door when they installed the new short block.

Since my car had been running good for 4 days with the new block, I decided to go ahead and mount my brand new Hiro's and tires. VERY next day, my ebrake craps out and it's gotta go back in, should be done tomorrow.

I was holding off on putting on the brand spanking new wheels because I DONT want them scrached or put back on without the hub rings by mistake.

If there is one mark on my car or my damn wheels when I get it back, mark my words, " I will go postal on all of them"

They will scratch it up if they have to touch them one way or another. If not, they'll curb it. The paint in the lug holes are all scrapped from the dealer removing my wheels for the axle clicking problem.

I've been considering literally strapping pieces of cardboard using zip ties, and it totally slipped my mind when I took it into service last week.

I would be like your dad djtonium, although I'm not sure I could keep it together. One thing I would do is wait until there were a lot of customers around and then go off on them as loud as I could. I have had this work before. "Well folks this is the kind of treatment you can expect at this dealership" etc etc. It has worked two out of three times so far.

I try not to bring it to the dealer, but when I have to I take the manager around my car like they do at a car rental agency and show him that there are no scratches, dings, or blemishes. "So if I have some when I pick it up you know who did it right"??? They don't like that, but who gives a $hit.

Default Update: Car has been dropped off!

I had my PDA in my pocket and set it to record in case something got out of control.

Everything went surprisingly smooth. The manager looked at my car along with the service advisor. They were pretty upset about the sideskirt. I pretty much kept my cool the whole time, and they did the same as well. After the manager took a brief look at the damage with the advisor telling him "I know those damages were not there when he brought the car in," he gave the advisor the okay to fix the damages.

I met up with the wheel repair guy. He works on many custom wheels. He even fixed some Porsche wheels after a customer used oven cleaner to clean his wheels. He'll bead it, fix the damage, and reapply clearcoat.

My side skirt should be repaired next week. The body shop is going to repaint the whole thing so it'll be about 2 days.

I tried to squeeze in a couple of minor bumper scratches, but they don't have anyone who can spot/blend the area. Cost of repainting both bumpers total to about $905. I opted out of it since I'm keeping the car for about another year, so it wasn't worth it. As for the wheels, it is $75 extra pre wheel and I couldn't squeeze those in as well besides paying for it.

Last is the fuel filler cutoff valve. They'll be working on that today. It turns out my service advisor thought the tank needed to be replaced, which is why he said the parts weren't in. I talked to the lady at the desk, and she DID remember telling me they had the valve in. My advisor thought differently.

So I have to pay roughly $160 out-of-pocket to repair two more wheels with minor curb rash. I'm not complaining. I might end up keeping my wheels after all since I had no idea repairs were possible for my LE-37t. Next week, my tire dealer will install my HPS pads and T1-Rs. I never want to skimp on tires/brakes.

I can't wait for the new G coupe to come out, and I hope Infiniti service is better. It's tough... I love the cars too much to switch to another company. Thanks for reading!
