Default Got into an accident today...PICS inside

I will begin by saying that I'm quite depressed still...
Around 3:30 today I was driving to to work.
It had started to rain and the ground started getting slippery.
I was making a left turn onto the freeway entrance, and the next
thing I know my back end flips...
I tried my best to regain control but it was already too late...BAM!!!
The car did a 360 and crashed violently on the driver side onto the guard rail.
I was turning a bit fast, but nothing crazy...but I guess the slippery surface
and my sh*tty Nitto 555's wet grip caused the rear end to step out...

My front and rear passenger side are pretty much jacked up..
The front right bumper, front headlight(crack inside), front fender,
front rims and tires, and what appears to be broken axel.
The rear bumper, rear panel, rear rims and tires are also damaged.
I checked the engine, and window fluid and power steering fluid spilled open..
but there might be more damage that I don't know of...

I've read several posts before where fellow Zers do a 360 and hit the rail,
but I never expected it to happen to me...I'm still somewhat shaken.
The car is dropped off at the bodyshop, and I'm talking to my claim adjuster tomorrow...hopefully everything goes well...

Sorry to hear. WHat model Z do you have? Did you floor it at all to make you lose traction?

^ Eek... I cannot stomach those pictures. Good luck with the claims adjuster, and hopefully you can have it restored 100%.

Driver's side? Looks like the passenger side unless there's more damage

05 Enthusiast...I didn't floor it at all...just turned a bit faster than usual.
Nothing crazy..if the ground wasn't wet it would be just normal quick turn.

Sorry to hear that. I hate driving when it first starts to rain because I've had my back end come out and only reason I didn't hit anything was because there wasn't any traffic and I've learned how it does that and stay calm and I've been lucky

The car is screwed but I assume that you are uninjured. Sheet metal is easier to fix then, say, your head.

Live and learn.

Roads are most slippery right when it starts to rain, that oil mixed with rain = slippery!

Sorry about the accident... looks somewhat bad but you came away walking and that's a plus... pretty sure you will get the claim right and this will be another story for the friends.

Good luck!
C.

God damn, my roomate got in a wreck last week in his Z, but it is nowhere near that bad. It's hard to believe it can happen to you until it does. Sorry bro.

That is a sad sight and a hard lesson learned I guess. But looks like you may have escaped chassis damage as the door, bonnet & tail seem to be closing flush. Main thing is you're in one piece.

Unhappy Sorry...

Sorry about that. The 350z is my second car and my first was a BMW 325i and within 24 hours of getting the car I got in an accident that wasn't my fault, anyways, I am so sorry...
