B. Are you a Z lover influenced by prior Z models?

I fell in love with the FairLady Z in 1981 when I lived in Japan. Nice little cars with nothing you didn't want. I love the Japanese models (cars and the girls) so the Z was the only Japanese sports car that was worthy of my attention.

I was orginally looking into the 300ZX TT back in highschool...but then the 350Z came out. I bought it purely for enjoyment though. The history is still a learning process for me. Now the Viper......that baby is gonna be mine within the next year or two.

B.) I was 4 years old when some flight-attendent gave me a 240z matchbox car to shut me up on the plane. I started collecting Z matchbox/hotwheel cars while growing up in the 80's.

Told myself I'd eventually have a real one 'when I grow up'.

Definitely B.

I've had an 84 turbo, 86 turbo, currently own a very modded 91 twin and have had the 03 350z for a few years now. I doubt I will sell either of my current Z's anytime soon.

My 1'st Z was a 1973 Datsun 240Z. Damn engines ran forever and were bullit proof.

In 1972 my brothers girl friend let me drive her 240Z. I fell in love with that car and always wanted one. She's my sister-in-law now and she still has that car. When the 300 came along, I was knee deep in kids and they were pricey as well. Now my time has come. It was worth the wait for my 350Z. I plan on having it a very long time.

First car was a 1972 240Z... hence my user name.
Bought it in 1980 and spent many hours keeping it running and rust free -- been looking recently to find a 240/260Z for my sons--- pass the torch

B.

My dad had a 1982 280ZX and I loved that car. I wanted a 300ZX, and was sad when they pulled the plug in '96. When the 350Z came out I knew I had my chance to get one.

:When I first saw the magazine title, 'The Z is back!' with Lemen Sunset
Z's picture on it while sitting on a toiletseat in Army's basic training camp, I told myself, 'I must get this damn car when I finish with military..'
and I realized that Z had such a long history behind...
And I feel very embarass to say I was actually in market for a new Mustang.. So when I got out of the Army, I went to Mazda dealership and saw RX-8 and fell in love... almost purchased it with $30K...and went to right next neigbor dealership which was Nissan.. met this sales man said, 'I saw you hopping on that gheya$$ RX-8..why don't you try our 350z'. He gave me $28000 for enthusiast and I signed it the very next day

A.

My first car was an '86 Rx7. Then I drove a Gen3, and fell in love. When I got a job and decided it was time to get a car, I wanted something similar to the Rx7, but not has maintenance intense. The Z had it all. Power, handling, and looks. Now I am learning as we go along.

I bought a new 300ZX in 1984 so I have been a Z fan for more than 20 years.
