Default Pet peeve... anyone agree?

People who hang their elbow out the window or worst yet, their whole forearm out and down the side of their 350Z or G35C. I can understand MAYBE if it was a pickup truck or some muscle car, but not a sexy and shophisticed looking import, it just doesn't go with one another >_<;;

EDIT: I thought I would photoshop some pictures to show people what I mean just in case you can't picture it. The first picture is the hand out and down the side of the car pet peeve, the second is the elbow way out the car pet peeve.

nah, doesn't bother me cause I do it too. unfortunately I smoke in the Z and putting my elbow outside produces the least amount of smoke in the vehicle

I bet if he hung his arm out, it wouldnt grow hair. Atleast according to my theory, based on what I've observed in NJ- bald men drive verts.

I personally prefer my limbs to be inside the car in case some ******* decides to hit me one day... I had a great uncle that had his arm ripped off from the elbow in a similar accident a long time ago...

If I wanted limbs hanging out, I'll ride the bike. =)

eeeh.... it all depends. i personally think that its ok, like if its nice outside. i also do it when im trying to get the attention of someone who WAS tailing me and one of us switched lanes, cuz im wanting to tell them not to EVER do that again..

the drivers who i HATE that do that... 16 year olds in tahoes and suburbans with 20"+ rims. OR if i notice that they have their arm out AND they are lookin all around to see if anyone is checkin em out... cuz they are just so god damn BALLA! :/

One of the first things I noticed after getting my Z was it's not very ergonomic to use the window as an arm rest like in a lot of cars. It's too high for comfort (saftey first). Anyone who does this in the Z is probably really tall or trying to make a retarded fashion statement. Not that I really care though.

Personally I drive with 2 hands on the wheel (9&3) at all times in traffic unless changing gears. I drive for performance when I can, and for defense when I can't. Either way I try to always employ sound driving technique.

I get a kick out of the people who drive with one hand at 12 oclock and posture the rest of their body like they think they're some kind of pimp. They look like no driving fools to me.

oooo ouch... i'm one of those posturing asses with the arm out the window. I'm tall so it's at a perfect height. However I also do the one hand on the shifter one on the 12 o'clock wheel with the slouch. You never know when you need to shift, since I live my life a quarter mile at a time.

Oh yeah, and you two handers look goofy.

Like the title states, it's a pet peeve, everyone has pet peeves. Don't take it so personally.

The slouch is ok, but its the ghetto lookin slouch with the left hand at 12 oclock and your left shoulder coverin half of your face that looks really stupid. And its even stupider(word?) lookin when they look around and look over their shoulder like that too. I cant help but laugh...haha

Yeah, you are right, instead of heading out to the playboy mansion to party it up on a Thursday night, I decided to spend five minutes on this post. Just thinking of that lost five minutes... I hurt inside. Come back five minutes, I miss you so!

Why don't you go pick on the "How do you roll in the Z windows up or down" thread next?

Let me see you bounce right to left and let your shoulder lean
let your shoulder lean, just let your shoulder lean
Ay, get it right, two step and let your shoulder lean, let your shoulder lean
just let your shoulder lean

So what if I lean in my Z lol
