Yes it's a 2004 but it only has 13,000 km (less than 10k miles).
Painted Stillen body kit/spoiler and install is about $3.5k.
Price of an stillen stage 2 and install is probably $6k.
Carbon fiber hood (painted) is probably $800.
Lowered supsension and aftermarket rims are atleast $2K total.
And the most important thing is the warranty (this depends on when the warranty started).
But I'll even take a 2/3 year warranty on a F/I setup.

This is a decent deal obviously only if what they claim is legit.
Those numbers are ridiculous...

In all fairness to the guy, he is in Canada and the Zs are a lot more expensive there even converted to US dollars. He probably really does have near $80K US in it. That vert for sure costed nearly $60K US up there and he opted for Stillen so it had to go through customs and I believe he really did spend that much. He will have to sell it to another Canadian. The horsepower claim is an entirely different thing though.

I hope you know that Stillen S/C setup is one of the most expensive F/I setups you can do.

A Stillen urethane bodykit is $1300 unpainted. Getting it painted is atleast another $600/$700. Then installation ... it cost me $275 to install my stillen bodykit and that was a steal. I haven't even mentioned the customized hood and painted stillen spoiler. Or the suspension/aftermarket rims.

Please enlighten me with some facts if my claims are ridiculous.

Unless you're doing the work (install, painting, etc) yourself, those #'s are pretty accurate in terms of cost. The bigger problem is, cost of your mods does not = what someone will pay for them.

440 hp with the Stillen??? I've got one myself (Stage 4 no less) and would be pretty happy getting anywhere near 400 hp

You forgot to add in the 14" Rotora BBK on the car as well. Tack on another $3K plus customs to get it to him plus install.

The only reason i said it might be in Canadien dollars is because I've never seen an auction say Canadien dollars next to the price as I have for other currencies. I realize the price is in US dollars but I still don't think it is that ridiculous. $50,000 CDN is around $44,000 US dollars, add $35,000 worth of mods and it doesn't seem that bad. I also understand that there are probably less than $35,000 in mods, but there is a minimum of at least $10-15000 in mods. So say $54,000-$59,000 invested in a car with only 6,000 miles on it that still retains the factory warranty. Obviously you will never get back what you invest in the car and clearly this guy doesn't understand that but I didn't think the price was that outrageous.

Damn I didn't even see that ... BBK? **** ...

I think the main difference between this and what a lot guys do when they try to sell their fully modded F/I Zs is there's no assurance that 100 miles down the road their engine is NOT blown.

Like I stated before this is assuming the F/I portion actually has a legitmate warranty for the next couple of years or 20K+ miles.

I think they're rating at bhp not rwhp. We have G35 in our Mid-A forum that is putting 340 hp to the wheels with a Stillen S/C stage 4 ... which is equivalent to 430+ bhp.

Yea, but not a stage 2 which the seller claims to have.

When I said the numbers were ridiculous the main number I'm pointing to is you using an MSRP of $40,000. I know nothing about Canadian prices and don't claim to but that car blue books around $26,000. Thats $14,000 shy of your MSRP price.

That's true I think the difference is not that much more . If you take into account that it's a AT the drivetrain loss is a little more than manual.

Still that rating might be a little on the BS side. Probably used a hp friendly dyno.

Ok fair enough ... my 05' DB has 10K miles on it and the KBB value is still correction: just looked it up $35K... $26K seems low. You have to remember that Roadsters retain their value a little better than coupe Zs.

BTW: we still don't know if they're dealing in Canadian or US dollars.

This car was modded at one of the best Nissan dealers (Westend Nissan)in Edmonton Alberta. They are very mod friendly. Same dealer I bought my Z and had the mods done at.They do lots of modding on all types of Nissans. This car was modded during last winter and was stored in the showroom at the dealer. I think it dynoed at 420hp. The fit/finish and paint on all parts is great.
