Definitely the hearing aids, because if you end up very prematurely deaf, it's going to make it that little bit more difficult to earn the next lot of $$ for those rims, and as one of the posters said, it's amazing how much you rely on your hearing.

Think what it's like after you've listened to extremely loud music for a prolonged period of time and end up with temporary tinitus. It's not cool. My .02

This wins the "post made me laugh out loud at work" award for the afternoon. Congratulations.

As for answering the hearing aid/wheels question, I have no frame of reference. My hearing is fine and I don't own a Z. Come to think of it, I have no business in this thread.

I'd say get the wheels and take a signlanguage class with the left over money.

Welcome to the forums. Where in AR are you at? I'm in the northwest corner. Bentonville/Fayetteville area.

Haha, Longhorn great to hear about the hearing aids. Just think you might be able to adjust the hearing aids, so you can hear the Z even better.

Our NZ Z clubs aren't going anywhere E***zzzzy, other than off to events, track days to cause mischief, in our usual laid back Kiwi way.

When you first get hearing aids, you are amazed at all the "new" sounds that you didn't realize you were missing. One of the greatest was hearing the high-pitched turbo whine in the MR2 turbo that I had been driving for 5 years and never heard before.

And I LOVE the exhaust "burble" from the Z.

And y'all can joke about hearing loss not being important, but once you realize how much you really were missing, you would change your mind.

Woah now, spend the whole 3.6K on wheels, lol. Loss of hearing is a blessing in today's society. My dad's need one for about 10 years and I'm jealous of the stuff he doesn't have to hear (not really but he probably could use one)

LOL I was begininng to think I was the only red neck in AR that drove a Z. I've been wanting to race another Z so bad I can't see straight. Seems like everybody in the Conway area that drives one is an older woman that could care less about how fast her car is .
