Before I bought my car back in Feb. I already had my initial, first years worth of mods waiting to go on the car, which were just a lot of small things. Those parts I had at that time, with associated labor costs totaled only $2,000. That $2,000 was all I was planning to spend for at least the first year of owning the car.
Now it's only been 8 months since I bought the car and I have spent $6,000 already on mods and labor. So I have exceded my tentative budget by 3 times and it hasn't even been one year yet.
What's kind of messed up is I already have another $2,000 I want to spend in the Spring, which I'm trying to talk myself out of.
I'm not in the poor house or anything and it's fun to shop and buy mods but one mod seems to lead to another. All the things I initially did changed the car as much as I had hoped for but the car still looked stock, no matter how many subtle things I did to it, so then the wheels went on. Now it looks stock but with cool wheels now.
I think a Seibon hood painted to match is in order next year because the front of the car looks like one of those smiley Cheveron toy cars I love the way the rest of my car looks now. Also thinking of aftermarket seats for performance reasons.

There was a good amount of money wasted on installing then removing the wheel spacers, I will break it down later.
Now let me borrow a grand
