The Z already looks HOT, doesnt need much show, maybe some tinted windows, a lip, nice rims... GO is the most important thing for me...

Thats funny because it seems like I see more threads about bodykits, huge wheels and huge sound systems on here than threads about performance stuff. Is this just my imagination, does anyonelse see this?

Go and enjoy the ride.

Or you can be one of those guys on Ebay who spent over 100k and won all these useless trophies and on the cover of some B-rated riceboy magazine and wants 85k on his depreciated 30k car.

the more you try to show, the slower it gets, just keep it straight performance.

Hello,

I prefer GO, but our cars' debut will be at a show (SEMA)... it certainly takes longer to make the GO car ready for show. In fact, although I have little interest in it, I have HUGE respect for some of the SHOW work I've seen. It's amazing how much work it takes for even the smallest things, like cleaning the car. Cleaning every single part on the car, removing tar, torching parts clean, repainting them, etc...

An engine swap takes a few hours. An engine install that looks pretty... days... I can't wait 'till we get to the track, this SHOW type stuff is too much work!

A little show is nice, But I would rather have all go than all show. There is something to be said for driving a sleeper, whereas driving a carpet queen is like dating a realllllly hot lesbian. It looks nice, but doesn't get you anywhere.

lol funny analogy..does that make me a fan of bysexual women then? hahaha

mix it up on show and go... a lot of the go mods can be show oriented too... i this is an endless argument

Aren't all men fans of bisexual women? Hey, I'm just two girls short of a threesome right now. But I think the question is ALL show or ALL go. I'd rather have a beat down looking ride that hauled than a sweet-looking ride that puttered. But anyone would choose a sweet-looking ride that hauls over either.

im a little bit of both, more of a go kinda guy, i bought the z cuz its hot, but also cuz it has the potential to b very very fast. most of my mods r performance, all of the show mods i did because i like a little flair, but also because i do bodywork by myself (custom molded on a lip kit, and custom dash)

my stereo is the stock bose headunit, w/ a jl 10 dub 0 in the factory sub location (customized the cover and sealed it.) i just prefer a fast light car.

however i would never strip out my trunk and panels to save 25 pounds, because it seems worthless 2 me, but thats just my opinion. i say u do wut u think is best.

honestly i used to be a Huge show guy when i was a little younger, but now that im 28 and have been to countless car shows and modded two psuedo show cars, i dont really care as much for the show aspect. Im really into more performance and VERY intrigued at the drift scene. All go now w/ a touch of show every now and then.
