Default Lumbar support

This is a repeat of a post I did a couple months back but I've seen several recent posts about lack of lumbar support.

I bought a cushion with an adjustable air blatter that works great.
Link is :

Cost is $99 but you might find cheaper in other catalogs. Paid $79 for mine but don't recall source.

This thing really works with my only gripe being is I sometimes have to reposition it slightly when I first get in the car.

The air blatter has more adjustibility than in-seat-cushions.

Guarantee your back will love it!

Recaro is going into mine.

That after spending the money for the side airbags.

I thought the seats were great ... test driving.... and I have no back problems.

Then came my first long drive. Ouch...the lower back... with the same thing happening time-after-time.

At least for me, no on pillow; it is to soft & doesn't necessarily hit right place on my back.

The cushion has a height adj. to get it in exactly the right place and the air blatter inflates to the "right" thickness for me.

The past several cars I have purchased with bucket seats have produced back pain on longer trips. In the past I used a cushion which helped but it always seemed to be in the wrong place. now I have a local auto upholstery shop add more cushion padding in the right places. With the Z seat he added some lumbar 'bulge' for support and raised the side bolsters on the bottom cushion....charged me $100 (driver only). Seat looks basically stock and the position of pad doesn't have to be readjusted.
