so the wheels dont need to go in a box? should I tie two wheels together, so they are shipped in sets of two? just cardboard on the ends is enough to protect them?

I started my auction at 1000. they sold for 1350. They had less than 60 miles on them. I of course included my tires with them.

save up some extra large pizza boxes and cut circles out to cover up the wheels, wrap and secure them individually with box tapes. i went Fedx cuz they got the best price.

Since the tires are on the wheels, that makes shipping easy. The tires help protect the wheels. I assume that they are 18 inch wheels? Cut 8 circles of heavy cardboard approximately 20 inches in diameter. Place one on the inside and outside if each wheel. Wrap the tires with tape.

When I got my set from tirerack, they had a piece of cardboard on each side to cover the wheel along with a layer of foam on the "front" side between the cardboard and wheel. Then they had a TON of tape wrapping everything up.

I'm guessing since he already sold them he doesn't have time to eat 4 extra large pizzas.

I like the pizza box idea. But the buyer would post:

Hey guys. I just bought wheels and tires from one of our members. For some strange reason they smell like pizza.
