I have no clue where my neighbor read or heard this, but he said he heard that in california 350Z's can be rented now?????? What is that all about if we don't have our preorders yet? I hope it is a mistake. Can you imagine a hertz rent a car 350Z? NOT.He just returned from a business trip to chicago. Who knows, has anyone from california seen anything or heard anything?

I dont know anything about the rental car business, but is it likely that Nissan would make a bunch of cars for someone like Hertz BEFORE the pre-orders get theirs? My hunch is 'not likely'.

However I would be more than happy to rent one. I have to learn how to drive manual before I get my car and renting a Z would have to be better for training than my friends 4 speed SUV.

I checked with Hertz and they do not rent the 350Z. Ask you neighbor for details. I highly doubt the 350Z can be rented, but let us know what he says.
