Default N E 1 Else parking the Z....?

Well old man winter has hit fully up here in the north, so it's time for me to put my baby to sleep for the winter. As much as I don't want to, it is the smart thing to do.

Any suggestions on what else I should do to it. I'm gonna fill the tank up and put some gas stabilazier in it, then take the battery out, wish I could put it up on some jacks, but no can do right now.

Anyone else putting theirs away....?

I'm going to be doing the same, I think I'll still take out for a ride around the block once a week. Do I need to take out the battery and add stabalizers if I plan on doing this?

Nope, you should be fine. Just make sure to let it warm up for a minute or so before driving off.

Well --If u are nearby --dont take the battery away too far ---cuz its good to start it and run it every week or so til it gets totally warmed up. Change ur oil in the spring of course. The prob is, if u have the wheels off the ground it wont rev. But so long as u move it enough so it doesnt sit at the same spot on the tire, that be cool. She will be all right so long as u go out every so often to visit and start her up.
Good idea to soak the leather real good every so often and the vinyl----Lay some mouse bait out so they dont take up residence. HMMMMM ---If u leave the bat in and u just start once a month or so ---disconect and trickle charge it at like 1 Amp. It keeps the bat warm and charged.

Be sure to run the engine and get the oil temp up every now and then. If it is anything like piston poppers on planes if you dont run them once in a while corrosion will start to form and then you will have serious problems.

yeah im going home for thanksgiving and leaving the Z there for the winter, Ill enjoy the cheap insurance for a few months. I wont be able to start it weekly but I dont think it really matters all that much, atleast it will be in a shop.

Its already getting very cold here and my poor Z was frozen today, it doesnt like this cold weather. GOD I HATE THE COLD!!!

SC, isn't that bad that Keyna can't get out for a couple of go-arounds in the neighborhood every couple of weeks!
