Famous people owning a 350Z

Rob Dibble from FoxSports used to have one when he worked for ESPN. I know this because he was talking about it on the Dan Patrick Radio Show, saying he paid around $35K for a Silverstone. He said something about having a Porsche in his playing days with Cincinnati Red, now he has to settle for a Z. I believe this was in early 2004 before I got my Z which came later in 2004.

You can tell the car was beat to all hell too, but for the price it left for it wasn't bad!
Here's a few pics I took of my car next to it.
Here's the car he traded it in on being loaded on the truck to be sent to him.

A couple guys mentioned that rich people probably wouldn't want a Z. I beg to differ. The history of the Zcar is so fabled, it is seen as an icon by many. Some of us older guys remember growing up idolizing the Z....in the same breath as many other cars...some high end.
The last model 300Z lost some of the halo because it was a 50K car that was built like a 30K car. There would have been fewer complaints if it was worth what it cost but it didn't.
Us old timers also hoped the return of the Z would restore it's old glory. It is close but tranny, suspension and cheap interior issues disappointed many.
My mother owned a 1980 280ZX 2+2. She kept it for over 15 years. I loved that car. It was slow but it was sweet. Only problem it had was a recurring fuel injector malfunction.
I like the current 350Z and rich people do too. Here in south florida, many affluent people drive them. Some might also have a Lambo or Benz in the garage but the Z sits around the yard too.

Haha, not only a gallardo...this is the second gallardo he's bought from this place. Why he needs two is beyond me, especially since the first one he got is better(newer/6 speed).
