Default my Z is buggin...i need someone to help me

yesterday i realized that my car is making some squeaky noisy everytime i brake to stop at the red light or when i'm slowing down. is it because my brake pads are worn out or is something serious going on? i know its not normal because it sounds so obnoxious, so i need you guys to tell me whats wrong. thanks y'all!

How many miles on the car / pads? It could just be the pads squeaking. Pretty common on the z, but hard to answer without more info.

eh....ok. Probably time to change pads then....maybe rotors too depending on condition. I recommend researching the Hawk HPS and EBC Green pads. WAY less dust than the OE pads, good braking performance, decent price.

I got new front rotors & brakes to solve this problem.
The OEM brakes had cut an ~2mm grove into the rotor.

It's not as bad as you think. Really if the rotors on your car have 44K miles on them, they're probably out of spec now anyway, or will be once you have them turned.

You can get all four OEM rotors from one of the sponsors of this site for under $200 and you can get Hawk HPS+ pads for all four corners from the same sponsor for under $200. A brake job on a sports car for under $400 isn't too shabby.

If you opt for slotted/drilled rotors, it can get a LOT more expensive, it just depends on what you want to spend.
