Default Just Got Accepted for the Gumball 3000 Rally!!

I just got a letter signed by Maximillion Cooper, organizer of the Gumball 3000 Rally.. running from San Franciso to Miami Starting April 17th!!! I had signed up on their website at the end of last summer and now I have been chosen to be one of the 200 cars to be in it!!! This will be 7 nights of crazy driving and crazier parties all over the country and later made into a small series by MTV that will be filming the whole thing!!!! HOLY CRAP!!!!

I NEED TO FIND MONEY NOW..... MORE IMPORTANTLY I NEED A CODRIVER!!!!!

HOLY CRAP.

Seriously... I need a co driver.. IF you are interested, let me know!!

Below is the copy of my letter:

Oh Man would that be so cool. I'd give almost anything (including 6K) but my day job schedule would never allow it.

Is it now just a 7 day run with parties or is it like it was in the movie, an actual RACE?

Whoever goes with you, make sure you take TONS of pics.

Congrats man!

Thanks for all the good words guys.. this is very exciting.
I need to work on sponsorship to get this done.. does anyone have any advice on that? All this has just taken me totally by surprise.

Dr.Bonz.. I believe its an actual race.. but some guys don't really race taht much cause they feel they don't have a shot... because you truely have to be nuts/lucky to win it all.. but there is a prize at the end... but I guess the parties and whole experience is a prize in itself!

I don't think it's an actual race with a prize, least that what a guy said on the movie that was about it. Man I hope to see you in the next video about it!

Seems like in a 3000 mile race, there is an excellent chance for some speeding tickets, especially at the rate you will be traveling and the types of driving (or am I thinking about something totally wrong here?).

Better ask your sponsor for some extra money to cover insurance hikes and lawyer fees.

Congrats man!...but I'd rather spend $12,000 on another bike. I can drive across the country without paying an entry fee.

Whoa, just looked at the website. 6 days to drive coast to coast only 3000 miles? Is this an old farts race? Go coast-to-coast-to-coast (6000 miles) in 100 hours like the Iron Butters do on their bikes and I'll be impressed.

You have to drive across country in the time allowed, which can be done by driving the speed limit (that is how they can legally run the race). But, in between the drives there are racing "events" that count towards your finish.

HELL YEAH

Congrats.

Me and a couple of friends are driving to New Orleans on the 23rd to "meet up" with and take pictures of the event and driving back home the 24th, which will be the same path taken from New Orleans to Miami on the last day.

When you do get info, will you PLEASE email me (allskate50@hotmail.com) or pm me with the hotel and departure times from New Orleans.

Also, what kind of scanner you gonna get? Good luck with the "man".

Congrats again, you lucky #@$%@

I was accepted as well. I suspect they send out over 1000 invites knowing that most folks are not going to pay 12 large....

Sounds fun, but its hard to stomach that 12K fee. Plus the tickets your most likely to get...

But, good luck to you if you decide to join.
