Sweet vette. The only vette i would ever buy is the C5Z06....for some reason i dont care for the new Z06, besides the raw power it just seems kinda boring for some reason...if i was going to the next level the Viper Coupe interests me more

Like most others in this thread, I think you made a great choice. The C5 Z06 is my favorite of all the Vettes and the only one I would ever buy. Like you, I traded in my Z after just over 2 years for a domestic. While I miss my Z (not your average everyday Z), I love every minute in the Viper, as will you in the Vette. Enjoy that beast, and don't be toooo much of a stranger.

 

The car is low as it is, it sits lower than the Z. I know this because my Z sleeps with our Z06. I'm not big and I have a difficult time getting in the Vette than the 350Z.

 

Import or domestic who cares if it sucks gas and hauls a$$. Congrats.

 

Actually Corvettes get as good gas mileage as our Z's if not better!

Congrats! I love my Z but would trade it for a C5 Z06 or C6 anyday. I rode in my teacher's Black C5 Z06 and it hauls butt. The car just sounds mad when you floor it.

 

i was reading, the reason vettes are so quite while cruising, is that there is a fuse that if u pull it, opens up all 4 pipes ( all 4 open up under wot) but i guess itll increase the noise drastically, so i hear.
