I just started searching for C5 Zo6's online and realized I could get a lightly used one 03-04 for low 30K. Not bad. Affordable to most of us who bought a Z. I just would have hard time rolling in the Vette and being "that guy" No offense to the OP I think the car is totally sick, but don't know if it fits me.

Nice vette, I wanted a red z06 before I got the Z, but changed my mind. c5 is my favorite looking body style out of all of them, it kicks ***!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found a 1997 Acura NSX with 32,000 miles for $36,000. Black, tan leather, absolutely immaculate. Im thinking of jumping on it. I'd rather do that than just be another vette rolling down the road (though i completely respect them, its just not me).

Default Dark Side As Well!

I pulled the trigger as well and purchased a 2007 Vette C6 Coupe Machine Silver.

Though I have not posted much I did really enjoyed my three years with the forum and the 350Z Roadster.

Beautiful! Do all the non Z-06 Vettes come with the targa top (and there's a joke in here about even the Z-06 roof being 'removable', but I won't go there! )

Congrats though, that's a great lookin' machine!

MC
Administrator,

Its a 6-Speed "paddle shift", wanted a manual but the wife refuses to drive a manual and on occasion she may need to drive it!

Thanks

You drive a Z and you were disappointed with a C5 Z06?

Im guessing you have a 10 second 350z ?

The Z06 has superior Handling (multiplied by 10 )

The Z06 will leave Bus-Lenghts on you

The Z06 will... you get the point.

The only thing disappointing on the Z06 is its interior... but it should only be disappointing for those with great interiors (Luxury cars); it shouldnt be disappointing to a 350z owner.

C6 Z06 =

Please show me a C5 Z06 vette with low milage going for low 30k's... I wont believe it till i see it.

And trust me, you would be "that guy" if you rolled up in this C6 Z06 (stock with powder coated stock rims):

Im sure many 350z owners would "go to the dark side" if they could afford such a beauty, including myself.

PS. Dark Side= American?

Here's one:

... and that's just eBay.

To the OP.... get a couple of cut-outs and a cold-air intake. Good for about 30 rwhp. The factory intake is pretty bad.

slow down....read my post.....'06 Porsche 911 Gtr3 on order, delivery 06/15/07....and yes that car was a disapointment for me...the *** is huge, and the interior....ummm...but hey, sometimes is not about speed. People that buy a Bugatti Veyron will never see the full potential of that car and still is worth $1.5 mil....just relax and enjoy what you have and as for me I love my '06 350Z touring....again is not sometimes about speed but status, just my .02 cents, so put the gun down and smile the world is beautiful, now I'm going back to my $245 cigar....

Vettes are awesome cars.

Bone stock automatic C6 on stock street tires ran 2:00.6xx lap time at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch in Pahrump with me driving.

350Z 6MT with sways, coilovers, exhaust, intake, plenum, HF cats, TS reflash, R-Compound radials, and built OEM Brembos ran 2:01.1xxx with me driving at the same track on the same day.

If that doesn't put it in perspective for you, I don't know what does . And whats worse, with a few more sessions, I probably could have gotten a 1:58.xx with the Vette.

Well that time is now. My real target is to get Skyline when they come to US and it will be another 2-3 years before I can get it anyway. So in the meantime, I have decided to get a vette.

Traded my Z for C5 Z06. For those of you who hates Vette and never driven one, I strongly recommend a test drive. You won't be disappointed.

It's been a pleasure being part of Z family...Please no flames....who knows, we'll meet again in GT-R forum...

CONGRATULATIONS! SELL-OUT J/K THE Z06 IS A GREAT CAR STRAIGHT ROAD OR CURVY!
