I've noticed several people who bought used Zs post that they didn't receive an official owners manual so it seems to be pretty common.

You can try the Marketplace->Private Classified forum here to see if somebody has one for sale.

Or if you don't mind an electronic version, download one for free from Nissan:

I too, was not given a manual. I bought used, but still, it should have the dang manual. They wanted some rediculous price, I think it was like $29 or something for it. So, instead I just DL the PDF and consult when I need to. Its not like I don't know of the features in the Z, so I can't see a time needing when in the car.

yeah mine didn't have the manual or an extra set of keys I was really carfull about looking for imperfections ect. that I wanted the dealer to take care of before I signed any paper work (had everything in writing) but I had assumed extra keys would be included and I didn't check for the manual Oh well...

I found manuals on ebay pretty cheap, but I haven't bought one yet...

Your dealer obviously is shifty and refuses to attempt to rectify a pretty simple problem and you should change dealerships.

Make sure to tell them that the 50 USD they saved are the reason why they won't ever see any of your money again.

And ruin them on Rate-a-dealer.

They could care less folks, used cars are sold as is! In my opinion its the buyers fault for not checking before he made the purchase.

thanks for reply everyone..was in dealers from 4pm to 930pm getting the deal done..75 miles from home..last thing on mind was the manual..just assumed it would be in compartment. yeah, i know only an *** etc....
so if all else fails, i will NOT pay $50, will just go to the on line manual..
at least those of u/who buy again will be smarter.
