I hate these cosmetic mods (and maybe you do too)

I hate these cosmetic mods (and maybe you do too)
Before I get started, I'd just like to say to each his own, if you're happy with your car, more power to you since you're the one driving and paying for it. That being said, here are a list of semi-popular mods that I just don't get:
-the Nismo spoiler (I especially HATE that block that it sits on that attaches to the trunk)
-the stock Nissan spoiler (looks like a unibrow/jutting forehead)
-mesh front grille covers (makes the Z look like it has a mouthful of braces)
-Lambo/scissor doors (what is the point of these, is it to make sure that you can't park in a low parking garage ever?)
-the Nismo V2 front bumper (those black accents on the sides look like the Z grew a greasy porno 'stache)
-mesh pattern wheels, yes even the SF Winning (mesh wheels just don't look right on a Z, IMO)
-chrome wheels (see previous entry)
-video monitors in the Z's headrests (there is no backseat so what's the point?)
-single canister aftermarket exhausts (the Z just doesn't look right without a double exhaust, IMO)
-front windshield stickers (ricey, ricey, ricey)
-single DIN head unit monitors (double DIN monitors look so much better)
-replacing the Nissan burger emblem front and back with the Z burger emblem (that Z emblem just doesn't look as classy and low key as the Nissan emblem, partly because it stands a bit taller than the stock emblem)
Yeah, I'm hard to please so sue me. I am now donning my flame retardant suit with accompanying gel slathered onto my body underneath (i feel squishy!) and patiently await your responses.

Well I only have one (the Z emblem) and do agree I don't like the Nismo Spoiler (I have a Stillen Type 1 copy which I love and think it flows much better on the car), mesh grill (I have the custom chrome door trim grill) or chrome wheels (I have hyperblack TSW Mondellos).

I got my Nismo V1 Spoiler installed literally 2 hours ago, and I couldn't be more pleased. Some say it doesn't go with the lines of the car, I think it complements them, especially in person.

What was said about the canyards, I concur. But the V2 bumper without canyards is probably the only way I'd go with an 06 or an 07 Z since there are no decent lips available for the redesigned front end.

To reiterate, I'm not telling anyone what to do with their ride (and the only person's opinion that counts is yours), this is just one man's semi-useless opinion about various mods that are floating around out there. Some of the mods I listed would look decent with a few minor changes (Nismo V1 spoiler without the mounting block, Nismo V2 front bumper without the 'staches, etc.).

i agree with a lot of it.
nismo v1 spoiler in jdm with some sort of two tone combo with carbon fiber looks sick. go take a look at leemik's and tell me it looks bad, you just cant.
mesh grille, yuck, always hated them with the stock bumper.
v2 front bumper. now that its been out for a little while. im back on the v1 bumper bandwagon. i just dont like the long nose effect it has on our cars. im in love with the v1 more now then before.

not a big fan of pointless cosmetic mods on any cars, much less the z.. don't like most bodykits either, ESPECIALLY on the z--why f*** with these perfect curves?
