-the Nismo spoiler (I especially HATE that block that it sits on that attaches to the trunk)
-the stock Nissan spoiler (looks like a unibrow/jutting forehead)
-mesh front grille covers (makes the Z look like it has a mouthful of braces)
-Lambo/scissor doors (what is the point of these, is it to make sure that you can't park in a low parking garage ever?)
-the Nismo V2 front bumper (those black accents on the sides look like the Z grew a greasy porno 'stache)
-mesh pattern wheels, yes even the SF Winning (mesh wheels just don't look right on a Z, IMO)
-chrome wheels (see previous entry)
-video monitors in the Z's headrests (there is no backseat so what's the point?)
-single canister aftermarket exhausts (the Z just doesn't look right without a double exhaust, IMO)
-front windshield stickers (ricey, ricey, ricey)
-single DIN head unit monitors (double DIN monitors look so much better)
-replacing the Nissan burger emblem front and back with the Z burger emblem (that Z emblem just doesn't look as classy and low key as the Nissan emblem, partly because it stands a bit taller than the stock emblem)
Yeah, I'm hard to please so sue me. I am now donning my flame retardant suit with accompanying gel slathered onto my body underneath (i feel squishy!) and patiently await your responses.

Haha i pretty much agree with everything except the mesh wheels, not that i have them. It's funny though when i was getting my car, nissan said they had one exactly the way i wanted it and when i came in to look at it, it had the "appearance package" with that little lip spoiler. I was pissed off, but not enough to not buy the car. Although its looks have grown on me (and lets face it, it's tiny) i always get jelous when i see other peoples cars with that perfectly clean line.

My definition of flaming is posting with the sole purpose as to incite arguments. It's the same reason it isn't cool to post, "I think all blue Z's are ugly, what do you think?"
as for the whole "good, no one asked you" bit..... if we followed that rule we wouldnt have too many interesting discussions, IRL or on the forum. opinions breed discussion. hey, it even brought you in here with your own opinion on the matter.
You may not like or "get" blue Z's but if that's the case, buy a red or silver one, don't post a thread saying that blue makes Z's look like Sentras. It's not kosher... in my opinion.
I personally wouldn't do most of the things on that list and don't care for them but my response to, "what is the point of [lambo doors]?" is... what's the point of not having lambo doors? If you want them, get them.
I personally don't care for the back-end of the roadster, so I didn't get one. If asked, I will share why I personally don't like it, but I'm not going to post a thread saying, "I don't get the roadster, it's ugly, what do you think?"
That might be having an opinion, but it could also be considered flaming. Anyhow, onto "the discussion" sorry for the interruption.

He said, "mesh wheels just don't look right on a Z, IMO" so where does that leave people who bought them? They think it looks good, and... and... so what? With *any* mod (or STOCK mod apparently... the stock spoiler), some will like it, some won't.

Because... he asked. That's the main difference... I didn't. It's not a rule, it's explained above with the blue Z's comment. I've asked what people think and seen many people posting those types of threads (with members giving their opinions).

I never posted that people who have the listed mods from the OP have no taste, they're just not my taste. People on this board (including probably yourself) have posted pictures of their rides or listed their mods soliciting opinions but if you can't handle a differing opinion here and there, don't post pictures or your mod list. Again, I hate to repeat myself but if you like your ride, so be it, I'm just a guy on the Internets.
You seem to think that the simple act of disagreeing (and I challenge you to find anywhere on this thread where I attacked anyone) is a personal attack on you. If this is truly your attitude re: differences of opinion, I'm unsure how you can get through the rest of life without being surrounded by yes-men and people who think that the emperor (you) has clothes on.

Seriously, though, the gold looks nice, especially on black, but I'd have gone with five or six spokes. Again, if you like it, that's all that counts.

the two i do not agree is the Z emblem and the NISMO spoiler. every Z car until the 350Z had a Z emblem. it is called history and tradition.. so yeah, lose the nissan burger. and i happen to love my V1 spoiler. but like you said, to each his own. but you forgot to mention wide body kits. i mean dang, the Z is already wide

Key point: stock spoiler is not really a "mod" since some models just came with it.
But if you bought a Track version (because you wanted one), would you purposely remove the spoiler because it was THAT hideous looking? I just don't think it's that terrible. It kind of reminds me of the heckspoilers on the BMWs.
I happen to like the clean, fluid lines of the Z without the spoiler as well, I'm just saying...
