Exclamation Looking for a good cover this winter.

My Z will probably remain parked for a good deal of the time over the next few months here in WV. We don't have the nastiest winters, but I've decided that my baby shall never experience the evils of road salt.

However, leaving it parked is one thing. I'd like to find a cover to keep snow and frost off as well. I've looked at Wolf covers as well as LeBra and have found quite a variety as well as a lot of different prices. What can you folks tell me? What have been your experiences with these or other brands of covers, and is the price of a $180 cover worth it over the price of a $50 cover?

Thanks for the help!

The OEM cover is $200. I just bought my second. Search car cover for critique and photos.

Well, the covers from Wolf were as much as $180, so that's a comparible price to OEM. What's the best value for money is my question. Do I pay an extra $20 for the "official" Nissan cover or will an aftermarket brand be just as good without the NISMO logo?

Here is a Pretty Lengthy Thread on Covers;

https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....Best+Car+Cover

The OEM seems to do a VERY good job of protecting the car, but it might be subject to comming apart under high wind.. (Most probably are).

Does the OEM have any type of warranty against that sort of thing? The Wolf covers I looked at had as much as a 5 year warranty. (No clue if that included wind damage. Need to read the fine print.)

There have been a few instances where the wind is so powerful that it is impossible to keep the cover on the car. But that is to be expected.

The original cover lasted 20 months, then deteriorated because of sun damage. I just got another.

The paperwork that comes with the OEM cover includes no warranty.

In my searches, there was a lot of praise for the OEM cover, so I went with that... although mine's stored inside too.
