Default attn admin search feature is crap....

searching for oil pressure and come up with 200 threads on tire pressure, i mean come on. btw does anyone know where the oil pres. sending unit is?

I agree, the search function on this site is really bad. Everytime I search, I spend more time sifting through useless results than getting my answers.

The one on g35driver is not that great either but at least it has the option for a boolean query. Boolean search seems to offer more relevant results.

So the argument for newbies to do a search before they start a thread is out the window since they made the search for non-premier member suck so much it's nearly worthless.

Not totally worthless, but pretty much. I find it easier at times to just go to the appropriate area and look through the thread titles.
