I was retarded, bought used from a dealer, and paid for the warranty. I'm not listing numbers, but I'm upside down.

I was tired of driving a POS. I went into the dealer and was like, I want a freakin Z.

 

you are not upside down if you keep the car. remember that! you are only upside down if you trade out too early.

 

$17,500 on a 05 touring w/ 13kmiles.

 

If you go into a dealer like that you're going to get ripped off every time.

Guys / Gals -

I know this is going to sound weird. But, I know I owe the most out of all y'all.

The wife was pretty cool when the '84 300ZX Turbo AE hit 200,000 miles.
She simply said, " Babe, why don't you get rid of that old looking Z and by a new one? You got your monies worth out of this one."
Even though, in my mind, that old 300ZXT still looked good I have to admit it was getting dated.



So, I'm afraid I'll be paying for this car the rest of my life. But, to tell you the truth she can't throw that many honey-do's at me. Lol !!!!

I actually, kept the 300ZXT for another 18 months just to make sure the 350Z ran out well. I do miss those T-tops.... but not the hunting around in the junk yard for parts. They just weren't there anymore. He, he, he....



Now, I just buy mods for my '04 (wheels, intake, lights, suspension, etc...) instead of searching the junkyard for replacement parts.
I love Z's and being this is my sixth I figure there will be a seventh.

BTW - She took over my Pathfinder LE (background). I want that back now! Great 4WD LUX BOX.

 

about 14K on my 03, could be around 10K but I wanted to keep some cash to do mods and have some left over oh-S*** money just in case.

Am I the only one leasing??? I leased my '05 Grand Touring Roadster cuz it stickered for just under $40k and I could lease it for $580/mo. I figure I can buy it out after the lease term if I want.

And now that I've started modding it, I might have to buy it!!!!

 

What is a performance model?? Base, Enthusiaste,Touring,Track,Grand Touring. Just bought a new 06 Touring and still owe 25,000 with 3,000 miles.

 

My car will be paid off next month.

I have had my 03 for 3yrs next month.

 

I was upside-down on a trade in for my Z. I still owe ~$26,500 with just over 43,000 miles on it. With the amount I put towards my monthly payment, I could own a BMW X3 with room to play, but where's the fun in that?

No regrets, just gonna keep paying on it...
