i love subies i was thinking of getting one before z but it was the maintence and insurence that got me so i got z. test drive z then think about it..

This is my opinion. A true sports car to me has to have a combination of both performance and styling. Overall I think comparably the 350Z is one of the best overall sports car for the money considering performance, styling, and handling. Though not practical, and not exactly inexpensive to mod. So if you need something more practical, and love to do mods and upgrades, I would say stay with the WRX. If you can go without the rear seats, and put some extra cash on mods, then welcome to the dark side!

theres only one thing other than being fast the wrx is better than a z, its awd and better on the snow!

The wrx is a nice car but whatever u put on that car, theres no way that car will ever come close to the sportier looking of the z. not only the z looks more mature but definitely will earn more respect with people because its just the z car...

In addition to this, the z probably by far has higher resale value compare with the wrx...so bottomline its up to u...but a true sports car should function very well on every category and z has always been up there.

 

man seriously the wrx doesnt compare to the 350z looks quality performance reliability come on guys u kidding subaru lol that car has more recalls then every nissan put together and more tranny failures then ford lol. who cares that u can hook it up easilyy of course u can its already tubo any turbo car is easy to amke fast why dont u slap a tubo charger on the z and run like 9lbs smoke modded wrx and sti's all day man

i owned a platinum silver 2004 WRX 2.0 turbo 5spd... had an electronic cut out by QTP, HKS ssqv blow off valve and GReddy profec B boost controller. STi wing/sideskirts/and splitters... and black rims...

and now i own a 2004 350z roadster touring 6spd w/ injen exhaust, K&N drop in filter and NISMO rims ....

Whoever owns the cars, they are pretty sweet I have to admit.
I am glad you upgraded to a Z so you can "break the tires loose". That's the first thing a true car enthusiast looks for, breakin them tires loose. You may "look" more mature in the Z but you damn well don't act like it clown.

We are talking about a WRX not an STi.

If u want to race alot get stick with the Subbie...more upgrades since u already have a turbo. If money aint an issue then get a Z and turbo it. If u dont really race get a Z...more class in the sport car area...compared to an Subbie.

no. wrx r not very fast. i have a lot of friends with them.

 

jus to let u guys kno, my buddy james had a wrx with upgraded turbo, boost controller dwnpipe exhaust and some crazy suspension mods and i still beat him when i was bone stock by half a car. he handled way better than me of course but i was faster in drag. i like subies a lot but a stock z can hang with a modded wrx. so cost wise i dont think they will that much difference for the same speed. it all comes down to what u like. i like z's so i have one. i say dont get a z. too many are already out on the road. stick to subie
