Default Unknown Heat

Hi Everyone,

I was at the gas station last night and while standing there filling up. I noticed that it was very warm in the rear wheel well. I was driving the car hard at all, only normal around the town driving to finish up some errands. I figured that it was residual heat from the exhaust, but I figured I should ask some more experienced owners. Is the heat normal or should it be something I should have looked at? Just in case this info is necessary, my car is a brand new 2006 enthusiast coupe, only about a week old.

Thanks
